Rumbo has signed an agreement with 24/7 Real Media, a firm specialized in digital marketing, belonging to the WPP group, by which it will use the ‘AdServer’ advertising insertion control system, which allows managing and optimizing the impacts of any campaign on the web, the online travel agency reported today. This system, together with the recent adaptation of Benin Mobile Database of the portal to standard IAB formats, will allow Rumbo’s new commercial division professional management of advertising campaigns, in terms of implementation, control, and monitoring, collecting all the relevant information from contacts made and ‘clicks’ generated, which is a clear advance for the campaigns of different advertisers carried out on Rumbo’s media.
The commercial director of Rumbo, Carlos González, stressed that said agreement will allow the online agency to professionalize its sites associated with advertising media, which add more than six million visitors per month. Rumbo closed the 2008 financial year with a turnover of more than 400 million euros and an increase of more than 20% in the Brother Cell Phone List volume of passengers transported. The company, owned equally by Telefónica and Orizonia Corporación, acquired bcellphonelist.com and Terra Business Travel in 2008, and at the end of last year launched Rumbo Negocios, a new line, aimed at business travel with saving costs on your business trips of up to 30%.
